This is being written about half-an-hour before the Oscar's begin. I'm putting all my money on CHICAGO, since it is actually the only movie on the various lists that I saw -- and I saw it twice. Hoping Renee' Zellweger gets Leading Actress, and Cahterine Zeta-Jones , Supporting (although her chances aren't as great as Renee's). I also hope Chicago gets the Best Picture award, and pulls down about 5 or 6 of the technical awards, because the film was a masterpiece of Art Direction, Cinematography, Costume Design, Directing, Editing, and Sound. I am gradually wearing out the CD soundtrack I have. It will be good to watch the Oscar's tonight after a bad day of war in Iraq. Gotta get my mind off the war. It is all too depressing.
